For Nik & Net, love became the compass guiding two girls from South Central Los Angeles into lifelong partners, mothers, leaders, and now grandmothers, shaping a multigenerational legacy.A Family Built Through Resilience
Our story is not about perfection; it is about perseverance.It is about blending families, raising four children, now adults, ages 28-32, and doing the very best we could with what we knew at the time. Our home was built on faith, laughter, hard lessons, and deep love, a place where we learned to grow both individually and together.Rising Through Adversity
We earned degrees, bought homes, advanced in our careers, and faced childhood traumas that once tried to define us. We navigated the highs and lows of parenting, celebrating our children’s victories while guiding them through mental health, incarcerations, and substance-use struggles. Nikki is a global biotech Quality leader and scientist at heart with 25+ years of experience transforming complex systems. Her determination and brilliance earned her the reputation of a certified “CAPA Queen,” securing five promotions in six years. Today, she serves as the Head of Quality for a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing women’s sexual and reproductive healthcare.A Global Lens Shaped by Connection

Ninette built a strong foundation in community leadership and education. While raising her children and serving her neighborhood, she held roles such as PTA President, Hawthorne School District Citizens’ Oversight Committee Member, flag football coach, and Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation volunteer — where she earned the Tom Bradley Award for her service. She also contributed creatively as a member of the Lawndale Arts Committee, supporting local arts initiatives and cultural engagement.Guiding Others Through Wisdom and Healing
She holds two master’s degrees — one in Marriage & Family Therapy and one in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding.
